I have been collecting vintage kinky, fetish, and spanking photography for many years. Unfortunately many original erotic photographs have been destroyed so the photographs that remain are often worn and in need of repair.
I have restored many of the photographs on this site, I hand tinted some very damaged pieces to breath life back into them. I hope both the fetish connoisseurs and the curious will enjoy these delightful images. I wonder if someone is now sitting quietly remembering their adventures and smiling. remembering the thrill of the forbidden and knowing they dared to live their life as they wanted to.

VINTAGE EROTICA ANNO 1950 20 Years before the rise of 1970's hardcore films in the U.S., the commercial pornography produced by the French unleashed a new era of Erotic Cinema. Suddenly, unlike the common "stag" films of the time, scripts, multiple camera angles, and title credits were introduced into erotic productions. These extended 15-minute films were intended for private viewing in the back rooms of stores, in homes, and at local brothels. The themes of many of these films were bondage and burlesque; images similar to those produced by Irving Klaw in the U.S. The main difference being that in France the filmmakers would show on-camera sex, and nudity. These films stand out, not only for being ahead of their time, but because they transcend the standards of much of what is being produced today.

Compared to the 1930's compilation, this DVD shows more strucure, in that individual film clips can be selected and there is a progression from mild to 'wild', and a wonderful photo gallery that shows women always are women, with no changes in equipment. In addition, the clips show clearly that current erotica shows no great leaps in technique and variety than what was done long ago by your grandparents, etc. The clips are a bit uneven, but probably the sourced materials are not in pristine condition. In America at that time, erotica ('smokers') were done by professional camera men, as they were the ones who had access to the necessary equipment, using their friends. The clips in this DVD are French, and the actors are ordinary people and many would consider most of them as a bit plump. But, they seem to be having a good time. As an addition to a bit of history, this DVD is good and a bit better than the 1930's DVD. This DVD is for those who wish to relive history and not for those who want crisp color and crystal clear shots. The musical sound track on this DVD could have used a bit more variety and pacing. The music recycles, and sometime the tempo changes during the film clip to another sound track which didn't have to happen. --anonymous via amazon.com

Well, here it is. Amazon's first XXX video. It may be listed as simply "Erotica", but it includes full XXX pornography. I'm amazed that this is marketed at so many mainstream stores because if they watched it, they would probably pull it from the shelves. EVERYTHING is shown throughout this video. Full nudity, oral contact, explicit penetration, climax shots, and most anything else that you'd imagine. Mind you, I'm not complaining, just a bit surprised. This video is a collection of 23 short films from the 1920's and 1930's and the entire video is almost 2 hours long. The only audio is a soundtrack of music set to the short films. The first few films are tame and simply show nudity, but then things start getting explicit. Although the women aren't always the best looking (some are though) and the film quality leaves something to be desired (what do you expect from the 20's and 30's?), I found these videos to actually become quite a turn-on. If you like classic films of erotica from the early days of movies, then this video is definitely for you! Just so you know ahead of time, there are 2 scenes where there is some man to man homosexual activity. Otherwise all of the other scenes are straight or woman to woman. I enjoyed this video and if you are into this type of production, you probably will also. Happy viewing! This astonishing, scintillating collection from the silent era, most of which are from the 1920s, are genuine, legitimate and by today's hardcore standards, amazingly charming, pornographic short films that leave nothing to the imagination. From predictable fantasy scenarios - monk spies on, then joins naughty nuns; teacher must spank naughty schoolgirls - to more esoteric fare (homosexuality and animal ecstasy, to name just two), vintage porn has never been more accessible...or attainable. The 12 shorts in The Good Old Naughty Days were primarily designed to be shown in the waiting rooms of brothels, amusing patrons - and no doubt giving them some ideas - as they awaited their girl. They also reveal production standards far in advance of comparable films being made elsewhere at the time, as well as an inventive and often humorous array of diverse couplings. These films were usually created in a haphazard fashion in an afternoon with friends and local prostitutes lending a hand for a few cents. All of them requested to remain anonymous, which makes it impossible to identify who really acted or directed them. For this reason, it is rather delightful to watch these "actors" often having to readjust their wigs and fake moustaches in the middle of their scenes so as not to be recognized unmasked. It is nevertheless touching to see how fresh and naïve these films look in comparison with today's X-rated film productions. Considering the age of these films, it is miraculous that they have been rediscovered and restored. These films are a part of our heritage and certainly a part of the secret history of cinema. In their own amusing way, these images involve us in a very direct, physical and intimate relationship with the good old days. In true genre fashion, this silent-era porno compilation leaves something to be desired. Likely the first theatrically distributed vintage hardcore collection since Alex de Renzy's A History of the Blue Movie (1970), Naughty Days has several advantages over its free-love-era ancestor. Whereas Blue Movie compiled poorly printed, now familiar American loops, Naughty Days beautifully restores rare French flicks of the anything-goes 1920s. The production values outstrip their Yankee counterparts, with expressive, professional lighting, elaborate indoor sets, and expensive-looking costumes. Setups include naughty nuns in soixante-neuf with buggering abbots, a Musketeer frigging a milkmaid, and an orientalist Madame Butterfly parody. The pickles-and-beaver shots found in cheaper films are absent, though surprisingly raunchy bits occur, some with animals. But given the substantial scholarly interest, the winking intertitles are disappointing. Only the tiniest bit of historical background is given about the films' provenance, padded out with corny, badly translated jokes. An American production, the animated Eveready, is tacked onto the end without explanation.
